On your first visit, please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out a confidential form pertaining to your health history. Alternatively, you may print and complete the confidential case history form and bring the completed form to your appointment.

Prior to treatment, our professionally trained and accredited staff will review your health history and perform a short assessment in order to determine the most beneficial treatment for your individual needs.

Hands On Massage Therapy's registered massage therapists are trained to ensure an atmosphere of safety and privacy during every session. Your comfort and level of pain tolerance will be respected throughout the treatment. At any time, if you are uncomfortable, we encourage you to let us know.

If you wish you may come earlier to enjoy a steam or whirl pool or stay after, the choice is yours. We regret to say, if you are late, your registered massage therapist has no obligation to make up the time, as it is an inconvenience for the next client.

Do I need to undress for my Massage treatment?

You are encouraged to undress to your level of comfort. It is much more beneficial to apply massage techniques directly to the skin and massage therapists are required to drape you with a sheet so they only expose the portion of your body on which you are receiving treatment. It is possible to work on a client who is partially/ fully dressed; although this will limit the type of techniques the therapist can use and the depth of treatment you may receive. Your choice will always be respected and you will never be made to feel uncomfortable.
